Crystal Sands Hikkaduwa

I like hotels where everything is how it should be, and the staff are not hanging around or intrusive but are fast and responsive when something is needed. It was just that. Excellent setting, facilities, and staff. The food was very good. Snacks are overpriced, but the rest of the menu was great.

Only one glitch. The cocktails we ordered had no alcohol in it, but they rectified it when flagged to the manager.

It is one of the best properties in Sri Lanka for stay. The property gives you numerous facilities and the staff is very polite and humble.

The location is perfect if you love sea views. The elevated sky villas right next to the ocean give the whole stay a different feel. The plunge pool and spacious balcony with the elegant setup made it a great place to relax and enjoy the holiday. What I liked most was that it felt like staying in our own private apartment, but with the comfort and service of a hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. The food options were a bit limited, but everything we tried was delicious and nicely presented. Overall, it was a lovely family getaway and we really enjoyed our time there.
