The Prince of Wales

The pub is old-school. Basic, but fun. I liked having breakfast on the balcony, and the kitchen facilities are useful.

Bed was particularly comfortable!!

Only one working toilet an the manager made us feel a little uncomfortable because he was always around

Dont bother. Shared bathroom's out of date decor, no hot water in my sink Nowhere to plug in chargers. The pictures on site are not of this hotel

Checkin (by the gaming cashier) was courteous, but required filling out 2 pages of forms each with a signature - more than encountered anywhere else. Room was clean.

Room had a washbasin but hot tap didn't work. Room had no window. The only light switch was near the door, and there was no bedside light. When light was turned off, room was pitch dark. As I had no torch to see around, I hit my shin on the wooden edge of the bed. Noise from other guests (arguing) in corridor in early hours of morning. Guest kitchen was in dirty condition, with food scraps on bench and in sink, and solidified fat left in frypan on bench. Of the 2 cubicles in the men's toilet, one had no latch and the other had a defective latch. Could not get channels to display on TV. Antenna may have been disconnected or faulty.

Was quieter upstairs than I thought it would be considering pub downstairs, had no dramas or issues, nice big room
