Quiet and comfortable and not far from snape maltings

Nothing … it was all lovely!

Lovely clean property, comfy beds, plenty of towels, had everything we needed for a weekend. We were impressed with the selection of toys and books for the children, a really nice touch. Very close to the high street, Nistor’s is a lovely bistro where got breakfast juices, sausage baps and pastries from. Really close to Thorpeness where we were attending a wedding.

There is no parking with the property and we occasionally had to park around the corner but it wasn’t hard to find a space within a short walk, but the road was also quiet enough to pull up outside to load up when we left etc.

As a former Airbnb host, here’s my honest feedback: It was fair. Could be great! Unable to see front door lock at night. Shower head is terrible, leaks everywhere and no pressure. Nowhere to put things in bathroom. Master bedroom window very difficult to open. Too many strongly scented decor items. Zero basic food items: sugar, tea, coffee, pepper, honey, oil. No one wants to buy all this when traveling. Your description gives the impression that basics will be there. Fence panel fell over during wind yesterday. Give more specific instructions regarding how to turn on/off heat, oven…especially for non-European visitors.

The cottage was really clean and welcoming. It was comfy and had everything we needed. It also felt really laid back.

No complaints really. Leiston doesn't have a lot, but it is a really short drive to lots of great places.

It’s very cute, two up two down but well renovated and stylish. Welcoming information package was excellent. Staff were brilliant.

I found it difficult, during the night, having the bathroom downstairs, because of my mobility issues. That’s my problem though. I don’t know if that information was on the website because I was so focused on finding the right location and price. I didn’t think to check this out beforehand. However I managed to cope with it. It was an advantage during the day and evening.
