Hotel Amainah Bacalar Adults Only

We spent two at Amainah and loved it. It's on the quiet end of Bacalar right on one of the most beautiful areas of the lagoon. The food was very good and it was nice to have the option to dine at the hotel. The vibe was very relaxed and it was quiet, as there are no children allowed; adults only. The staff was very attentive and friendly. And, of course, it was absolutely beautiful perched right on the lagoon.

The view from the rooms were amazing! I think every room has a view of the lagoon. Walking into the room after a long day and seeing the lagoon is a highlight. I am very thankful to the staff who were so attentive and welcoming, especially Jaer and Edgar! Jaer was amazing from the second I arrived. I also enjoyed the food, and the location was amazing.

The cleaning could be better. No one wants to feel like someone was in the room previously even if they were. Unfortunately socks from a previous customer was left, there were stains on the floor especially the toilet, and it seems this was missed. I also think more things should be available for what customers have to pay. For example, being picked up from the airport, breakfast, or even a possible shuttle to the centre.

We loved everything about our stay. The room was beautiful, the view was amazing, the food and drink delicious, and the staff were excellent and went above and beyond.

Had a wonderful time at this place rooms are amazing if you’re looking to relax and enjoy your time this is the place the lagoon is beautiful it has 7 different colors and there’s also cenotes with in the lagoon we did the boat ride with Angelo all I can say is go visit this place I’m sure I will go there again

We had a wonderful week long stay and loved it. The views are breathtaking. The rooms and beds comfortable and the food, especially the breakfast with fresh fruit on the deck is incredible. The free kayaks were great. Above all, the staff was incredible. Elfredo, Ricardo and Miguel made our stay amazing. They even had a birthday brownie for my husband. We highly recommend and will be back.
