Modern 3-bedrooms house with 6 guests

Location was great. We could always park in front of the house. Very quiet. Nicely decorated. Lots of toilet rolls and towels. Great views from some windows if you hang out of them. If you're happy with basic then this is the place for you.

I might be being picky, you decide: I had to ask the host for the key code. The house is very "rough around the edges" what I mean is the decoration although nice looked like it had been painted by an amateur. There is black marks around the taps and silicone in bathroom and kitchen. They left us a sponge for washing up but it was dirty so I threw it and bought a new one. There are stains on the sofa and chairs. Although it seemed clean there were some cobwebs and it was dirty under the beds/ furniture (maybe I'm being really picky?) For us the beds were very uncomfortable, too soft but that's a personal preference. The bed on the top floor is very low. Stairs very creaky. The shower is a mixer tap with very strong pressure so takes a bit of getting used to. The shower curtain rail is held together with duck tape. There is no "garden" it's a very small, scruffy yard. The sofa was very springy, not particularly uncomfortable just a bit odd to sit on. One of the bedroom windows the double glazing is misty. It looks much nicer in the photos than in person. I wouldn't stay here again.

Rooms are well decorated and well kempt. Communication with Host was brilliant. Accessing the property was easy. We were allowed to stay longer on checkout day than we intended. Host was very amenable.

There was only one bathroom - not two as advertised. That bathroom was dirty - mould on the bath and shower curtain. Curtain rail was failing down. The property was excellent otherwise, the bathroom really let it down.

The house was perfect for our short stay in Sheffield. A lovely lounge to relax in, and very comfy beds. It had all the facilities we needed and was very tidy. The communication with the host was excellent too. Would love to come back soon.

Parking and the Shower

Everything, good communication from the owner. Easy to get into the property. Able to park directly outside the property. Very quiet street with no noise. Easy to get into the City centre, it took about 6 minutes in a taxi. Beds were comfortable and the shower had excellent power and powered by a combi boiler so hot water on demand.

Nothing at all, it's tremendous value for money and no complaints with anything.
