The Craft House

Very welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make my stay perfect. Rooms were immaculate. Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious.

[ ] The Craft House is so fabulous, you could stay for one night or forty and still not want to leave! I can't believe how lucky I am to have booked it. Suzi and Ian are the epitome of welcoming hosts, nothing is too much trouble and everything is thought of for their guests to have a comfortable, relaxing and lovely break. The decor and ambience of the Hotel is perfect thanks I think to Suzi in the main. The room I had was great, clean and comfy. The breakfast room was was beautifully decorated with murals of local crafts and the breakfast itself was delicious. The bar was excellent for a relaxed evening before bed and my Loquaciousness/notoriety for talking rubbish for hours was received with genuine graciousness and for that I will be forever grateful. 😊 [ ] The Craft House is so fabulous, you could stay for one night or forty and still not want to leave! What a fantastic little Gem by the sea. I travelled to Plymouth due to a family emergency and had to make a last minute hotel booking. They were ready and waiting for me 10 minutes after my booking. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We relaxed after checking in at the lovely bar / lounge / games room. The whole hotel is fantastically decorated! Everything you need in the rooms and the breakfast was fantastic. The location was also amazing. A few yards walk to the hoe with a lovely view of the ocean! We will definitely come back here again! Thank you!

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Loved the hotel decor and room, including the refreshments in the room. Spotless room and bathroom. Very convenient location. 100% recommend and would stay again if in Plymouth.

A very minor point but it would have been helpful to have been informed by the hotel prior to or during our stay about the closure of the hotel where the hotel is situated (and where we parked our car) due to the half marathon. Unfortunately we were unaware of this and only found out through friends on the night of our stay that the road (as per the marathon website) would be entirely closed from 4am. Unfortunately, this impacted the enjoyment of our stay. Otherwise, could not fault the hotel, or staff.

Pretty much everything, from the warm welcome and help with my bags up the stairs, the arty and cosy decor and luxurious rooms with the comfiest bed i think I’ve ever slept in. Perfect location for a leisurely weekend close to both coastline, restaurants and town for shopping.
