The owner was the sweetest person!! Beds were super comfortable and room was very clean.. Nice breakfast..everything was perfect, we had a really nice stay

The staff made our stay very homely. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast prepared by Flor each morning and she is just so lovely to speak with. It's a short cab ride from the centre but just around the corner you can also find some decent places for a meal if you feel like staying close.

The room for the 4 of us was a little smaller than expected but we were told that it was an issue with the web page. It wasn't too much of an issue because it actually made us venture out sooner and longer! I wouldn't recommend walking into town on your own as it is a little sketchy along the way but this can all be bypassed with a quick cab ride.

Do not stay in this place. First of all, the area is everything but safe. Definitely the worst area we ever stayed in. I don’t get how it could get around 8.7 in Booking reviews, honestly. We wanted to stay here for one night and then move to Tayrona. After realisizing that we need to buy one more night or pay for storaging the bags for one night, we were simply in shock. Have stayed in more than 100 places in last two years and this was the first time I heard something like that.

The door knob was really really loose and the faucet handle was broken off. Also the bath was so small that I could not sit straight on the toilet. All other things were acceptable for the price (old TV, small room, hotel located outside of the center)

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The receptionists Flor and her assistant Mary are such wonderful ladies, so helpful and attentive. The breakfast is amazing and there are different options for rooms. Beds are comfortable, I slept in different rooms and it’s quiet at night. The location is 20 minutes walk from the noisy Santa Marta Centro which is what I wanted. It’s located in a safe neighborhood and there is a connivence store right across from the hotel and nice restaurants couple of blocks away. Wifi works fast and the staff are so kind and helpful. I highly recommend staying here when in Santa Marta. Saeed
