North Shore Inn at Lake Mead

The customer service was excellent. This is a bare-bones kind of hotel. No elevator to 2nd floor, but that was no problem for us. The room was spacious, and the location was great. The air conditioning also worked well!

Die Lage zum Valley of Fire ist sehr gut. Das Hotel selber entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Für 1 - 2 Nächte auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend, das Frühstück ist typisch amerikanisch.

It is located very conveniently to the Valley of Fire park. The location is quiet. There is an OK Mexican restaurant and a coffee shop across the street. The room is as clean as it may be made at a dated hotel. The staff is very friendly. They do have breakfast, but we did not stay for it.

The room and common facilities are a little dated, but not too bad. The bathroom needs a renovation or at least some care. The paint on the ceiling bubbles up in some places, there are dark spots in some corners, the bath surface looks strange, water drainage is slow in the bath. The pool is "broken". They tell it as it just got broken. However, I noticed that for many hotels like this one, the "pool is broken and is closed" is a permanent condition now. I felt the room was a little expensive for what it is. However, there is no much choice around, and the other hotels are probably not in a better shape.

Idéalement situé pour pouvoir visiter Valley of fire. Hôtel très calme. Petit déjeuner buffet correct.
