This is a freshly renovated ( to a high degree) apartment and it shows. Nice ,simple decor. Super comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchenette. Nice shower room with plenty of hot water.Small but welcome balcony. Strong wi-fi signal. A quality compact apartment. No hesitation in booking this place again.

Access to building and apt is by way of electronic key code which, once you verify your email, is supplied to you one hour prior to check in. I had issues getting the verification via my phone. Sorted by way of direct email so my issue might have been my fault. The only person you are likely to see here is the cleaner. They gave me the top floor as building work still going on on first. To be fair this will likely be soon completed..

Très bon emplacement en plein centre d’Héraklion, pratique pour se déplacer rapidement et avoir tout à proximité. Logement propre, fonctionnel et bien organisé, parfait pour un séjour professionnel.

Le logement donne sur une place assez passante, ce qui peut occasionner un peu de bruit la nuit.

The location is very central.

It is a noisy area. Even when the temperatures are mild, you cannot sleep with open windows. You either need earplugs or you have to close the window and switch on the air conditioning. The elevator starts on the first floor. This means that you have to climb thirty steps before you reach it. The steps are narrow and rather steep and, if you have anything more than hand luggage, they can be quite bothersome. Although the design of the shower permits it, there is no curtain fitted. When you take a shower, the whole bathroom floor gets wet. The ventilation in the bathroom is poor. As a result, the shower area has mold. The balcony has no sun protection during the day. In the evening, there is strong led lightning installed, which cannot be dimmed or switched off. Thus, you cannot spend more that five minutes in the balcony, unless it is after midnight when the light is centrally turned off.

The proximity to various bus lines was convenient (including one to the airport) Ample restaurants, shops and a 10-15 minute scenic walk to the Venetian Harbour.
