Origin Austin, a Wyndham Hotel

Our group of family and friends enjoyed Origin Austin…to celebrate my adult daughter’s birthday. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. I was given a calm, quiet room. The restaurant was clean and neat. The young staff was attentive, professional and thoughtful. My fruit salad was fresh and my light meal was delicious. Tiffany, at the front desk, was especially helpful with my check-out….and logging my Wyndham Rewards for this stay. I highly recommend. I’ll stay here again.

Stayed at this trendy Austin hotel and absolutely loved the location. It’s perfectly situated just a short distance from the Capitol and UT, making it incredibly convenient whether you're in town for business, a college visit, or just exploring the city. The neighborhood is very walkable, with tons of great restaurants and cozy coffee shop right outside the door—no need to drive everywhere. The hotel itself has a stylish, modern vibe with thoughtful design touches that make it feel elevated yet comfortable. The rooms were clean, well-appointed, and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. Staff was friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. If you’re looking for a chic place to stay in Austin where you can step outside and immediately enjoy the local food and coffee scene, this is a fantastic choice. Would definitely stay here again!

I greatly enjoyed my room, which included a balcony. I do suggest changing the desk bench to a chair for ease working on the computer. Otherwise, the room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. In the restaurant, Jim and his team did a great job—wonderful hospitality and two delicious breakfasts. Many thanks to them for the food and friendly service. John

Great location, environment and ultimately the staff we're amazingly friendly.

Bathroom door was very diffcult to close / open, also the fact it doesn't close all the way at the top and there's no active ventilation makes privacy non existent when sharing a room. Also there's some screw's sticking out from the right side bed in room 413. Just get that addressed as someone could hit their toes.

The team really takes care of the guest. Smiles from ear to ear and you can’t help but be happy to be there because they look happy to be there. Amazing clean and cool lobby. Nice well-appointed rooms. The restaurant was busy but after eating the burger…I see why! All around great trip. Can’t wait to come back and explore more of the area. Job well done!

Had the most amazing time here. The staff are so welcoming and so helpful. Big shout out to big Jim who made our trip memorable. All the staff there are amazing. Lobby AC was not working during our stay. In room 530, the patio windows were not fully clean, and some of the window blinds were not operational.

Had a great experience at the Origin, hotel staff were incredibly helpful. The Blue Lacy restaurant was also delicious and had very kind staff.
