Staff is very accommodating. Christian goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable as possible. The neighborhood in laureles is residential and quite peaceful, good for walking. The real gem is the coffee shop in the hotel, I have drank coffee around the world and they make the best coffee I’ve ever had, espresso, latter or just a cup of plain black coffee. And it’s cheap I mean cheap. It’s amazing place with amazing people.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place was so freaking awesome that I just had to share my experience. The hotel is located in this really chill and green neighbourhood called Conquistadores en Laures, which is close to this super cool park called Parques del Rio. It’s perfect for getting your morning exercise in. If you don’t know Medellin that well, this is definitely the place to stay because it’s way better than the crowded Poblado area. You can really feel the city and enjoy walking around, using public transportation and avoiding traffic. The staff was super friendly and helpful throughout my stay and made sure I had everything I needed to feel comfortable. The mini-apts (that’s what they call the rooms) were super clean and had a really chic design. You have everything you need, including a kitchen if you’re tired of eating out all the time. The bed was super comfy and I slept like a baby every night. They also have this coworking space called river-town where you can grab breakfast and work. The coffee was another thing - seriously the best Colombian coffee I’ve ever had - and they even have healthy options like Florentino eggs and parfaits but don’t go without giving a try to the chocolate croissants. I loved working from there because it’s such a chill atmosphere and locals can come hang out too after 5 pm is very nice for a local beer or cocktails. Overall, I'd definitely recommend beminimal for a place to stay in Medellin and I can’t wait to come back.

Good small hotel near a lot of options

Es un lugar situado en una zona muy tranquila y hermosa, lo único que puedo decir que uno extraña es u aire acondicionado en la habitación, sobre todo ahora que el clima esta tan cambiante y el planeta calentándose.

beminimal is a lovely hotel. The decor was wonderful with all the plants. The staff was amazing! If I was in the area again I would definitely come back.

No A/Cin rooms it was very hot. All else was fine and walking distance to plaza mayor Convention center. Park walking distance. Small room but ok for the price. Good hot water and water pressure. Linens, pillows and mattress very comfortable

I stayed here 3 says. I enjoyed my stay. I would stay here again. Great coffee shop downstairs.

Perfect location for us - we were running the Medellin Marathon. Can't fault it, it was great :) Loved the design of the room, it's small but spacious at the same time!
