The cottage was very poor, the condition and cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Very tired, dated and rundown.

The cottage is huge with 4 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, bathroom and hallway. The hosts were helpful and gave good suggestions for what to do in the area. It's only 3 miles out of town so easy enough to get groceries and other necessities.

A few things weren't working 100% at the farmhouse but that's kind of tobe expected given the remoteness of the location. We reported them to the managers and they promised to fix them for the next clients.

I contacted the agency and the owners to shorten the stay by one night within the free cancellation period. Both the owners and the agency ignored me and charged me for a whole stay.

The location was lovely, near Campbeltown and fields behind. The cottage was spacious. However, the single beds were uncomfortable. The mattresses were poor quality. It was not clean, for example we had to wash many of the dishes before use. The decor was really cheap and the remote control for the TV had dud batteries. Overall it could have been so much better with a bit of money spent on it and proper cleaning.
