Hotel Soleil Ha Long, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Location is very good Near sunworld park HALONG BAY Near shops restaurants etc.

Upon arrival= me and my wife got welcome drinks. Glass of my wife was dirty . She left the drink Our room was NOT cool enough. I tried to reduce temperature. But didn't succeed. I called maintenance. A technician came up. But= he didn't managed. He told me in 45 minutes it will be cooler. But nothing happened. AFTER 10 hours it got Warmer ! Was NOT easy to sleep. Guests can NOT control their room temperature.

The rooms were comfy and huge as expected from a Wyndham hotel. The manager (the small lady who can speak English) at the Sol Restaurant is the kindest lady we have met throughout our whole trip. She has made us feel so welcome and taken care off whenever we are eating. She even chatted to us about plans for the trip and when she learned we were going to Sapa, she handed us off with tubs of pastries for the bus. Give this woman a raise.

We were upgraded to a bay view room but almost wish that we weren't. Every single night the club at the front of the hotel is SO loud it feels like they're right beside you. The spa in the hotel was also subpar. They are late to open, slow to move, and it did not feel like a luxe experience. You can get a better spa experience in Sapa than here.

The service is excellent and the hotel amenities as well.

Got a room upgrade, probably due to low season. Excellent location near cable car station.

We like the large room , great double shower bathroom, lots of varieties at the breakfast buffet. Not a good location. Very noisy at night, loud music from across the street, even past 1 in the morning. Maybe it fits younger customers who don't need a quiet night to rest.
