Hotelli Jämsä

Että aamupala olikin kadun toisella puolella huoltoasemalla. Siitä saisi olla tieto varaustilanteessa.

Positiivinen yllätys! Siisti, moderni check in

Stayed at Jämsä Hotelli while skiing in Himos. Overall a really good and practical choice. The hotel is about 9 km from Himos, roughly a 10-minute drive, which was totally fine. Big plus: free parking, both in front of the hotel and also at the Himos parking lot. The hotel is fully automatic — before arrival you receive a code that gives access to the front door and your room. Very smooth and hassle-free check-in. The room itself was decent and clean, nothing luxurious, but perfectly okay for a ski trip. All in all, a nice, straightforward hotel and a good value option when skiing in Himos. Would stay again.

The room was a bit cold at first, but to be fair it was -24°C outside overnight. The blankets were excellent though — once under the blanket, it was very warm and comfortable to sleep. The bathroom is a bit on the older side, but it didn’t bother us at all. Breakfast is served across the road at the café in the gas station. Not fancy, but convenient and worked well for us.

I liked the location.

It was very cold, the room didn’t heat up at all, and there was a lot of dust.

Huone perus siisti. Toivoin parivuodetta, mutta ilmeisesti joku virhe (en tiedä). Mutta sänky hyvä ja uni maistui väsyneenä. Alakerran tilat viihtyisät (jos aikaa viettää)

Suihkutilat pienet ja siisteys epämääräinen ( väsyneenä ei jaksanut nuuskia). Alakerran mikroaaltouuni ärsytti, kun väsyneenä piti etsiä/ miettiä käyttöohjetta. Nälkäisenä ja väsyneenä alkaa kiukku nousta.
