Perfectly clean, well presented, very comfortable. Good shower. Well stocked kitchen. Quiet, peaceful. Lovely location. Parking outside the front door. Everything you need for a weekend away.

The heating was preset to 20 degrees!!! In early April. Sweltering! Which happened to coincide with an unusual and unexpected 20 degree forecast for the weekend. Couldn’t easily turn the heating off. Seemed to be preset to go to 20 every morning. Doors and windows wide open- waste of energy 😔 Couldn’t turn bathroom tap off. Constant stream of running , wasted water. Very sad to be wasting energy and water like this. I emailed the company (as per the instructions in the visitor book) and received no reply. Also emailed the company asking for parking permit (as per the instructions) and received no reply. Hopefully we didn’t get a ticket 🤷🏻‍♀️ Bit disappointing not to receive a response when we were advised this was how to communicate.

"Really nice property in good location."

Location was good and the beds and lounge comfy and cosy.

The steep, deep stairs and steps at the back a bit hard for our elderly dog. Had to carry her up at night. Personally prefer not to have bathroom downstairs but that is just how it is and cottage was nice.

"Attractive little cottage"

We had a very good three night break at Candy Cottage. The cottage had everything we expected and parking was easy and convenient. I'm not sure if I missed reading about it, but the shower room was located downstairs, which wasn't great if we needed the loo in the night as the stairs are quite steep - however this wouldn't stop us booking this lovely little cottage for future visits to Suffolk.

Peaceful, short walk from town, parking right outside the door.

There were no negatives. It is a really well planned cottage with everything needed for a short break.

Cottage was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and ideally located for visiting local places of interest. Parking was great and easily organized by the host
