Hanaya Ubud Villa

I don't eat breakfast so did not try it. But looked great from the menu. I ate at the nearby hotel/ restaurant for a late dinner.. Menu was at the place for recommendations. Food was amazing. Got help to get a driver for the day, to take me to the rice fields, monkey sanctuary etc. So glad I did it. Went to ubud on my own for the last 2 days there. Left my family in bali as they had been there before. Glad they did, as i wouldn't recommend ubud with children. Places have steep steps , I couldn't go as far as I would of liked to at the rice fields etc. Bad knees. But what a beautiful place. Don't try and do three visits of Places in one day like I did. Even the young were getting tired doing all the stairs down to things. But what a breath taking place. Hope the lady where you take pictures with her holding the wooden thing still has my hat I gave her. It was a funny story how she got it.. make sure you tip her well for the pictures.

Only thing I could say I did not like , was no bottle opener in room. And maybe a phone charger as mine broke, and couldn't get one on short notice. But I know that would be hard as different phones. Ohhh the curtains spoilt the place, you had to leave them closed because you can see right in from outside. Which absolutely defeats the object of picking that beautiful place with the beautiful view. Maybe some net curtains on inside as well as curtains on the outside, so we can see the beautiful view outside as well.. I could hear the Russian girl every night on the phone to her man friend , from next door. For about 2 hours. I had to turn my TV up loud to drown out her voice.

Villa was really cute and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and beautiful nature surrounding it. Location was good as well and the staff was super nice and helpful.

It's not the hosts fault, but do keep in mind that there will be a bit of bugs since there's a lot of rice fields and plants surrounding villas. We were here during the dry season so it wasn't that bad but definitely more than in other places in Bali.

there is not much around in the immediate vicinity to see like restaurants or shops. The door to the villa does not seal correctly so you will have bugs in your room. The mattress on the bed was not comfortable.

Spacious Helpful and kind staff Big and nice bathroom

Big ants inside the villa and outside the bathroom. The bedsheets were clean but had stains on it. I informed the staff and they changed them the next morning. Other than that, all was good.

Pool area was nice, felt very rural. Jungle like vibes. I left my kindle and bills owner kindly returned this to me so thank you.

Air con took a while to kick in, lots of bugs which I know can’t be helped but there was an ants nest in our room. Bath and bathroom was very grubby needed a good deep clean. Loud music one night kept us awake not sure how often this happens.

The hut we stayed was bearable. Gecko poop inside our room everyday. we had to clean it ourself and ti stunk really bad. Bathroom was not clean, muddy, and the toilet seat ring begged to retire from the service. We were completely grossed out.

- The shared villa has the nice garden, everything was green and there was a small rice field - The clean pool that has the jungle view - Good breakfast - The staff was nice - The villa looks like on pictures - The villa was very close to Ubud by car/motorbike, but not walking distance

- The towels were clean but pretty old - The toilet ring was clean but old and should be replaced

Very serene. They have their own rice field within the compound. There is a swimming pool too. The rooms are perfect for couples. They're very cozy and with its value I believe it's a good deal. The view from the room is nice. They have an open air bathroom with shower and bathtub. It's a bit further out of the city center but Grab rides are also accessible there if you need to go somewhere. Hanaya is the perfect retreat for those looking for a quiet holiday.

It's a little worrying that the gate isn't locked which understand is for the convenience of all the guests staying there and Ubud is generally safe. But we just couldn't help get worried at night. Wish there was a passkey or lock code of some sort for those who are staying and working there.

Rooms were lovely with everything we needed.

Wifi was weak. Really needed a moped to get around easily from this location.

Beautiful, spacious and clean cabins with a lovely pool in a quiet area. Nice restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed staying away from the busy city but still close enough to the center by car/ scooter.
