The Herwood Inn

The owner is very attentive and checks in for feedback. The commissary was a major plus. The room was well equipped and the common areas were comfortable with a great vibe. Good wifi. Convenient and walkable to town and trails.

I wasn't able to fully rate the facilities because the hot tub was closed for maintenance during my stay there.

We enjoyed the convenience and walkability. Downtown Woodstock is about a 10 to 15 minute easy walk to shops and eateries. We stayed in the King Suite, a 2nd floor lodging that was clean, spacious and included pretty much all you need for a stay (games, books, kitchenette, toaster oven, pots, pans, hair dryer, mini fridge, plenty of blankets and towels). We had quick responses from the Ipad concierge and website chat for any questions. Thanks for a relaxing stay!

The suite was very nice. However, the hot tub did not work.

The room was quaint and comfortable. Well stocked with premium linens. The owners were available to provide recommendations and directions. The whole stay was lovely.

Super cozy, quirky, with loving personal touches! Traffic on the road in front is a bit annoying but we love this place and will be back again and again!

We loved the spacious common outdoor area that was completely fenced, so our little dog was able to be there with us without our worrying about her safety. The area had a barrel hot tub, a place to make a fire, plenty of firewood and lots of places to sit. We stayed in Mitchell Manor {named to honor Joni Mitchell} and you could see that the owners had put a lot of creative thought into everything that was in there. It was very Woodstock and it was delightful.

Everything about our stay was amazing. Our room Nick’s Nook was adorable and had great amenities and a cool vibe. We did not use the back space (pergola and hot tub) but everything looked so nice and relaxing! Thank you!!!

The good thing was that there was a local vibe in the property and it was very conveniently located on Tinker Street. I did not like it was self service kind of apartment not like a hotel room with services.
