Homewood Suites By Hilton Carlisle

The lady who sat behind the counter had us wait for couple of minutes. She was busy texting and talking to one of her staff. She did not greet us to feel welcomed . She ask me for my ID and credit card. We really did not sleep because we heard kids running outside our room and jumping above our room.

A beautiful new hotel featuring spacious suite rooms and an eye-catching interior design. Well-appointed free breakfast with coffee available all day. Comfortable beds, blackout curtains, two nice televisions, a full kitchen with plates, glasses, etc. Nicest hotel I've stayed at yet in Carlisle. Would stay there again. Additionally, a small skate park is located one block away.

No negative experience, a few orange chip crumbs inside the pull-out couch, and a small spot of orange crumb stains on the pull-out bed cover. We would have never noticed if we hadn't pulled it out for my son to sleep on. Obviously, crumbs fell into the cushions from the previous guest, who had been eating on the couch. It was easily remedied with a new bed cover from housekeeping. Small indoor pool.

Room needed some repairs. Had difficulty turning off lighted mirror in bathroom and shower leaked all along the sliding door. Caulking definitely needed. Floor was flooded after first shower. Averted flooding with second shower by tilting shower head towards the wall away from the sliding door. Also, when air conditioning/heat was turned to off position there was no way to get fan to stop.

The suite was huge! New property but seemed lacking on Hilton quality. There was a truck show in town, and there was no where to park. The front desk told us “they made the parking lot too small” and we could “risk” parking on the street. Breakfast had no meat except pulled pork, which seemed odd for breakfast.

My family and I had an excellent stay. We arrived before check-in time and were more than willing to just drop our bags and go, but the staff went out of their way to find an available room and give us a chance to settle in. (We have two small kids so this was extra helpful.) The hotel looks brand new and everything was spotless and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the full size fridge! Just want to give a special shout out to the breakfast - it was one of the very best I've had at a non-super-fancy hotel. Lots of choices and great quality - and wow, the breakfast tacos were so good. We would definitely stay here again.
