Friendly and professional staff with personalized advice and recommendations on what to do, where to shop/eat, etc. The breakfast is top tier and very good quality and value. The hotel is clean and room service is done with great attention to detail (I even found my clothes with sand on them all washed and dried, sometimes they come 2-3x a day to refill water, close the blinds before bed time etc). The staff are very nice and go above and beyond to make your experience better. The hotel location is a little isolated from the hustling and bustling area with nightlife (Baixa/Chiado/Bairro Alto) but is located conveniently at the top of the city so it’s a scenic 20 min walk DOWNHILL to the seaside (and you get to the all the key neighborhoods on the way). Overall highly recommend and will be repeating next time we’re in Lisbon!

I stayed at the hotel a year ago with 3 friends and loved it so much I booked it for myself, my husband, my daughter and my three adult grandchildren a year later and we all loved the hotel. It may be the best all around hotel we have ever stayed in!

Elegant yet unassuming, very helpful and pleasant staff. Isabel and Mariana at the reception and actually everyone; housekeeping, at the restaurant very kind and friendly.

This is our second

We stayed in one of the attic suites during a major heatwave (~100 degrees). The hotel was a perfect refuge. The suite was spacious and beautifully appointed; the bed was comfortable (with excellent linens); the marble bathroom feels very luxe (with a great shower); and the air conditioning worked great. The breakfast is made-to-order and tasty, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great experience.

I loved the neighborhood, did not feel touristy. Very quaint!
