Well when we got to the hotel we found a cockroach corpse just one and we were expecting so much more but never saw another one I think it was a leftover from the renovations as the renovations were happening at that time. I would stay there again. We were stopping through on our way to Beaufort South Carolina The only other shortcoming which I can appreciate as I am a contractor was all the contractors doing the renovations to the building had the entire front of the building parked solid so I had to hang my truck in the end of one of the spaces just so that I could be in the parking lot. Again as a contractor knowing how much money and tools and things of that nature each one of those trucks more than likely had in it as my truck had quite a large amount of valuable tools in it and I was on vacation I can understand.

Stayed twice. Once on the way to Florida alone and with an adult with two dogs on the way back. Nothing luxurious but quite comfortable. When we first got there before even having time to close the curtains one of the dogs jumped up on the bed excited and before we could respond to him one of the clerks was rapping on the window waving a no-no finger at us. I didn't appreciate him looking in our window and then chastising us like we were children. They're dogs. They're going to do dog things and a pet friendly motel should expect this. There were no other incidents and the stay was otherwise pleasant.

The managers was very rude the housekeeper was pleasant but they wasn't doing their job correctly the service of the housekeeper was poor the rooms had a bad odor there were bed bugs the floors were sticky and greasy housekeeping and clean the bathroom decent it was hair and other stuff in the bathroom it was just terrible I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone that was this hotel wasn't the worst. Thanks

Sounded like a truck idling in my room. The internet was terrible. Cut out multiple times while trying to watch state championship game. Lobby locked in the morning so no coffee. None of the outlets worked to charge cell phone of run computer. Had to unplug the lamp and use that for the computer. Used the outlet by sink to charge phone. Is is what it is. Most everything under $100 off rt 95 in North Caroline is going to be third world. Next time I will just sleep in my car.

The shower worked. The toilet worked. There was toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, shower gel and lotion in dispensers and enough towels. The refrigerator worked. The wood grain floors are cleaner than carpeting. There was a gas station next door that had a nice little grassy area to walk my pup around. There was coffee available at the front desk when I left at 6am. It was quiet. The staff was nice and got me rooms next to each other. The keys worked. One room had a lot of options on the tv. The rooms did not smell smoky at all.

One door was difficult to lock and one was tricky to open. One of the doors (we rented two rooms) was bent into the room at the top and bottom, a metal door. The room was musty. Fortunately, we had orange spray that worked to get rid of the bad smell. There were stink bugs in one of the rooms. The beddings were rather old with holes and stains on at least one of the beds. Not much choices on one of the tvs--only live tv. The ac/heating unit was very loud and old in one room and the refrigerator made tapping noises during the night that awoke me. The bed was bouncy. Mattresses were very worn out. The edge of the bed sagged. The area felt like it might be dangerous--the messed up metal door with lots of locks on it, one of which was messed up, and a guy who must have sat in his truck all night in the parking lot (security? Up to no good? Or just sleeping in a lot with free wifi?). Wifi dropped out frequently.

The location was great. It was right off the highway. The room was spacious and comfortable.

There were bugs in my room and the shower had hair all in it. You can tell it was not cleaned. The bathroom could use updating.
