Everything! It was such a lovely stay. Can’t describe it in words. Perfect get away during your Puglia trip. Perfect service, lovely accommodation and great wine and food.

A unique spot in the South of Puglia nearby Lecce! Great atmosphere, wonderful vibes, very friendly staff, fantastic pool, delicious food, very clean! Greatly located for day trips to Lecce, Otranto, Santa Maria di Leuca and Gallipoli! Nice beaches along the coast! The cooking class was very informative, the chef patiently explaining us how to form orecchiette! Linda, the food manager of the masseria guided us well through the herbs and vegetables of the garden! Breakfast was fresh and delicious, dinner in a relaxed atmosphere and Rafaele, il camerie, was very client focused, also explained all the produce of the Masseria and the history of the farn and the House! All in all, a very well received experience and worth returning!

The place is beautiful and the servers were very kind and efficient.

The Air Conditioning did not work since we arrived. The manager did not handle the situation the way we expected. They kept saying it was working but was not. They did not offer anything, charged us full price despite the AC issue. Even the olive oil they produced was charged. Very disappointed.

We loved our stay at Masseria Lilei! The hotel is an historic masseria, beautifully located amidst vineyards, 20 minutes outside of Lecce. The domain is very well maintained with a beautiful garden, flowers and pool area. All staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. The girls at reception were super kind and helped us with good restaurant tips while the waiters at the restaurant and pool area were always ready to help and make us feel comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a good mix of Italian sweet pastries and savory choices like eggs and focaccia. We decided to have dinner at the masseria one evening, which we enjoyed outside in the beautiful setting with the best service.

We liked everything.

The masseria is a beautiful and well-kept place. The highlights of the property are the spacious and beautifully minimalist rooms, the garden and pool area which are also very pleasant, and the staff, who are truly attentive and caring. Breakfast, with all the homemade pastries, was a joy every morning, and I want to mention the lovely and dedicated women who work there (and who doted on our baby <3). The masseria’s wine is very good, and the tarallini were the best we’ve ever had.

Some areas for improvement: In the evening, the restaurant unfortunately lacks a bit of atmosphere. While the setting is lovely for breakfast, it doesn’t quite suit a dinner experience. Some of the flavors on the plate could also use a bit of fine-tuning.
In the room, offering a bottle of water each day would be a nice touch… and the phone screen is really bright at night.
The access road to the masseria isn’t very inviting, with some litter and illegal dumping visible along one of the routes. Also, having to get out of the car to unlock the gate with a key isn't ideal, especially at night.

What can I say. This masseria is pure luxury. A very spacious bedroom with sitting chairs, an armoire, fridge, safe and comfortable king bed. The bathroom with double sinks,large walk in shower with lights that change color for a romantic (duo) shower. We had wonderful wine tasting, cooking class and great food in their dining room at night with our wine tour group. Breakfast was plentiful. The grounds are spectacular, olive trees, vineyards and such a tranquil surrounding. Quiet and peaceful. Lovely pool and spa areas . Outstanding staff-Francesca at check in, Yury and Raphaelle in the dining room. Linda gave us a wonderful tour of the property with our wine tour we were with. Everyone gave us 5 star experience . The rooms and bathrooms were exceptional.

A bit too isolated in location. The menu was a bit dull and repetitive. The breakfast was not much choice unless you like cake. I ordered a tiramisu which was frozen in middle and warm soupy cream on the outside, ?defrosted by microwave.

The renovations left the age and beauty of the buildings and gardens enhanced and accessible. The citrus trees still bore oranges and lemons which added colour and the flowering bushes and trees were coming in to blossom. Very pleasing to the eye.
