The Kama

I loved the hospitality that the staff had, very very nice people. The hotel has an amazing view, absolutely worth it. The food was also pretty good and so was the management.

The only thing that could've been better is some furniture was a little old and the property has insects but they still did an amazing job with keeping it in control considering the location of the resort!

Friendly stuff！

The shower water is salty. There is a noticeable musty smell in the room. During the rainy season, visibility is low and the volcano is not visible. The bathroom is connected to the outside. Upon check-in, there was a palm-sized gecko in the bathroom, which was later removed by the staff. There are many flies during breakfast; it would be helpful to have fly-repelling tools available.

The Kama, Nusa Penida One of the best places we’ve stayed in Bali. The pool was incredible — easily the best we’ve had, and the beers in buckets around the pool were perfect. Drinks were priced the same as the supermarkets which was awesome. Rooms were spacious with great views, and the food was really good and well-priced. Staff were super friendly and helpful — they even took us to the doctor for free. Loved the in-house massages and laundry service too. Jo the driver and cook is a legend! Also great that they offer free airport pick-up. Highly recommend The Kama if you’re heading to Nusa Penida. Great value, great vibe, and amazing people.

The drains in the toilet were a little smelly, however did not affect the rest of the living space

Great view. Nice and friendly staff. Quiet resort as there are only 8 rooms. Felt like we had the place to ourselves most of the time.

Was slightly away from bars and restaurants, and up a small hill. Although this was worth it as it gives a nice ocean view. It’s only a short walk. Breakfast was included so that was convenient but would not pay for it next time as there are many more places that do better food.
