We had a very pleasant stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel Umhlanga. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, from check-in to security and housekeeping, which made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we would happily return.

Room service food was rather disappointing considering the price tag. We normally don't use room service but we were both quite ill and had no other option.

Very good service on our check-in, Great service by the restaurant staff. We only had breakfast meals at the hotel but they were very good with quite good variety. Ordered a burger from room service one of the nights, not great, I would give it a miss. The rooms are comfortable, bathroom was quite snug.

The checkout process was quite lack lustre. Firstly, checkout is at midday but when we got back from breakfast just after 11, we were locked out of our room and had to go all the way downstairs to get the keys activated again. There were a number of us who experienced this so hoping it was just a glitch in the system for that day. Upon leaving, there was no real interest in us. I even asked if there was anything we needed to settle or confirm and we got a very disinterested response at the reception desk.
