Location

The bathrooms were little dark and could be updated. I didn’t really like the stones in the shower. + the roof had a tile missing and water came inside when it rained. This is room 2

"‘Nice’ but not what I was after or what the photos promised"

Sidemen is a lovely little village. Pelangi Villas looked like a beautiful spot from the photos of villas looking out over rice paddies. Unfortunately my villa was the only one without a field/ rice paddy view. I had been looking forward to a beautiful rice paddy view. It wasn’t to be. The main girl there is a star, really helpful. Wish the male staff were as considerate as her. The villas are in a good location to walk into the village also for nearby the silversmith and really delicious Warungs/ Restaurants. The pool is nice too.

No field/ paddy view from my villa (#3). Getting disturbed at 7am with gardeners using power tools. The ‘don’t care’ attitude of the male staff. I’ve stayed at some amazing affordable places in Bali with wonderful considerate staff. Maybe I was expecting too much, but this just wasn’t at that same standard.

På trods af meget brok fra vores side, var personalet meget hjælpsomme og imødekommende. Meget søde overfor vores barn og tilbød at lave mad til hende uden beregning på trods af morgenmad kun var betalt for 2. Poolområde er meget smukt, rent og fint!

Vi havde tre (levende) gekkoer på vores værelse. De forsøgte over to dage at afhjælpe problemet, så vi ikke skulle holdes vågne om natten. Dette lykkes de ikke med og vi sov helt elendigt og samtidig var det så utrygt med den slags klamme dyr INDENFOR på værelset, når man har et lille barn på 7 måneder. Dybt urimeligt. Tilmed fik både jeg og min datter dårlig mave efter at have spist kyllingeboller og spaghetti i restauranten. Morgenmaden består af, at man må vælge en enkelt ring fra menukort, desværre meget små portioner. Jeg blev i hvert fald ikke væk.
