Swan Paradise A Pramana Experience

We had an amazing stay at Swan Paradise! The staff were so kind and the food was so tasty.

My stay at Swan Paradise was excellent. From the moment I arrived to my departure, I was cared for well by their staff. The staff went above and beyond in so many areas, from providing tea upon arrival, helping with luggage, providing excellent hospitality, and so much more. I will definitely be planning on re-visiting this property.

Such a quiet safe place to stay.

Bear in mind the resort is located in Gianyar. So it is further away from Ubud, Kuta, Seminyak and Uluwatu. It can take up to 1-2hours via Grabcar. Overall, our one bedroom deluxe was beautiful and most things were provided. Their pools were refreshing on a hot Bali day.

This resort appropriately has Paradise in the name. Everyone and everything was amazing. The property looks exactly like it does online, which is rare. My best friend and I stayed in the three-bedroom villa with private pool for eight days (12/30/24 - 01/06/25). The staff was helpful, attentive, and responsive. We stayed in the Bliss Villa and it was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The villa has two indoor rooms, both upstairs, each with its own bathroom and soaking tub. The third bedroom is next to the pool. It also has a bathroom with soaking tub. There is a half bath downstairs off the living room area and a small kitchen complete with sink, hot plate, microwave, and refrigerator. I mention all of this because it was a little hard for me to find this information online. The property looks like Fantasy Island, well maintained, beautiful landscapes and flowers everywhere. It is not all-inclusive but complimentary breakfast is served daily. They do serve the same breakfast every day so after eight days I longed for variety. There is only one restaurant on the property but there is a good selection of options and it is all reasonably priced. The hotel is 1 hour 20 minutes from the airport so we opted to use the hotel's transportation. It cost $28 USD one way. Our driver was amazing and we used him for the rest of our trip. The staff was great but I'd like to mention Devi, Tini, Sutra, and Ayu by name. If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend staying at Swan Paradise.

It was far away from the sightseeing places and It was raining the whole time. However, the spa was great, buffet breakfast was nice every morning, the staff were very friendly and kept our room neat and tidy. Prices were fair. The surrounding areas that they offered by free shuttle were nothing to scream about; Keramas beach and Sanua. All in all good holiday!

Things I liked: It’s a large resort with 3 swimming pools. Really nice views. The people are very friendly. Lots of different sculptures everywhere. Delicious Balinese food. Issues: Couldn’t take a normal shower. They upgraded me to a large room that was not listed online when I arrived. However, I found out the water in the shower couldn’t get hot in the first night. So I moved to the deluxe double room (which I originally booked) the next day. Although the water can get hot in this new room, it can’t maintain a stable temperature and pressure. I mentioned this the next day when they asked me about the new room. I was told someone will come and check it. Not sure if they did check it in my absence. But the poor shower condition remained throughout my stay. I hypothesised that the unstable water temperature was due to others in the building using hot water at the same time. So I tried a different shower time each night, ranging from about 7pm to 11pm. The water temperature fluctuates no matter when I take the shower. It is a lovely place overall, but taking shower is a basic need. So I wouldn’t recommend unless they fix the shower. Another minor problem is there are locals burning something nearby everyday, which you can smell from many places in the resort (e.g. pools and restaurants). It’s a bit inconvenient if you don’t use WhatsApp, but the staffs in the restaurant are very helpful, I can always ask them for help.
