Cambria Hotel New Haven University Area

I was speaking to the employee at the front desk at 9 PM about a barking dog issue and she said she was working on her own until someone came in at 11 PM. It does not seem right to me (or safe) for one person to be on their own with anything that might come up in a hotel.

Stayed at Cambria for one night and it’s a very modern hotel with paid secured parking. This was my first time so I did not use amenities or eat at hotel but the room was very spacious and clean! There are no carpets in the room probably why it smelled amazing and front desk was very responsive and effective to any questions I did have.

It’s advertised as newly renovated

The AC in the room is very loud, very hard to get deep rest at night. not like regular hotel offering complimentary bottle water in room, you need to buy them downstairs.

New hotel located in walking distance of Yale/New Haven center. Very comfortable, facilities all worked, and the staff were excellent. The on-site parking (for extra fee) is convenient.

Free grab-and-go coffee in the lobby would be nice!
