Pousada Haya

Compared to other pousadas in the region, Haya has a much better structure and more international feel, especially for foreigner visitors. They make smart use of every aspect to make it sustainable and energy efficient, upcycling most materials on the premises, while at the same time offering guests a sense of luxury, from the pool deck and bar, to the excellent restaurant with menu designed by a nationally recognized chef. The room was very comfortable, with a king sized bed, airconditioning, strong shower pressure and even streaming services on the TV, as well as each room having its own cordoned off patio area. All staff were super friendly and available for any requests or information. As a relatively new pousada that started out during the pandemic and still survived, this destination is a reliable choice for anyone wanting to know the area and stay in a relaxing and beautiful location.

There were very few negative points here - one comment is that because the restaurant is centrally located on the pousada, noise from the machines (air-conditioner or generators, I'm not sure) were very loud especially at night, which could be heard at all areas where the rooms are, which kind of spoiled the tranquility of the area. Another point, which is not necessarily negative but more of a suggestion, is to have at least one or two staff members who can communicate in English, for international travelers. This was not a problem in my case, but would certainly be a plus and differentiator among the other pousadas in the region.

the Pousada was incredible! Tasteful design, comfortable, relaxing environment. We felt like we were in a retreat. The food was fantastic! Breakfast was spectacular! Best hotel we stayed in Brazil! The location was amazing also! Really special place! we had the best time as a family!

Zero Complaints! We had a magic time!
