Coastal getaway in Heacham

Great location

Not as clean as it could of been

Really relaxing, home from home break. Big bed was so comfortable, great location to explore and visit attractions. Everything I needed was here. Spacious garden, huge parking area at front of house, washing facilities etc

Towels provided were slightly rough. Extractor fan in upstairs toilet needs a good clean and a few cobwebs here and there but overall was clean. Neighbour has barking dogs that you can hear through the wall, not an issue during the day but could be heard at times after 9pm and unsettled my daughter a bit but she got used to it in the end. Had to contact host organisation a few times before I received any entry details, got them the evening before going which I felt was a bit late.

The house was perfect. Just the right size, warm and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

The big bed was comfy and the ducks out back was a nice surprise

Good location for visiting North Beach and Hunstanton. Hunstanton is just under 3 miles away and is great for a leisurely stroll. Good selection of shops (obviously mostly closed as we went at Christmas time but window shopping is just as much fun). I would recommend having fish and chips at Henry's in Hunstanton. The beds were really comfy. Kitchen and living room areas were really cosy and lovely and warm. Decent shower - having 2 toilets was a bonus one upstairs and one downstair in the utility room. The kitchen was fairly well-equipped with most of the essentials we needed to make our Christmas dinner. Very handy large fridge and freezer combined. Excellent quality non-stick pots. We thought there was no oven gloves until we realised that 2 grey rubber hand mittens we found in the cutlery drawer function as oven gloves! On the way home we made a detour to Holt - well worth a visit.

Apart from the kitchen and living room the rest of the house was quite cold. This is probably quite welcome in the summer months. We needed one more hand towel in the kitchen as only one was provided and we worked that one really hard as you can imagine at Christmas time. Fortunately, we had brought with us a big roll of kitchen towel. The only other bugbear was there was no salt or pepper mills. There was also no cloth in the kitchen or bathroom to wipe surfaces etc.

Cllean house..loads of driveway space..a large area for your car and a huge enclosed back garden which is fenced off all around for privacy..great Internet and decent TV for late night viewing after your day . Great utility room with dryer and washing machine. Large beds in both bedrooms and good shower in the bathroom...all urltendils and cleaning products provided..clean carpets.

Kettle needed descaling Stone slap at front door was wobbly..a bit dangerous..needs securing more. No back light for the rear garden .

Lovely house, nice and clean. Spacious. Beds were sooo comfy! Great secure garden for the dogs. Upstairs toilet wasn’t working but owner was apologetic. Overall was a great find. Would definitely book again :)

Very warm & comfortable house in excellent location for visiting North Norfolk coast . Nice sunny garden .

Surprised to find no dishcloth , washing up liquid or tea towel in kitchen . Instructions on how to set central heating would have been useful,. Also no recycling instructions. Very difficult to get out of shower as bath quite high & no anti slip mat or handles to hold on to. Blind pulleys in small bedroom & living room not safe for children. Smoke alarm in Small bedroom flashing on all night. All upstairs doors squeaking!

Great location - just a short drive to RSPB Snettisham for the early morning Wader Spectaculars.
