Nothing. It was just gorgeous

This minimalist, chic studio apartment is as lovely in reality as in the photos. It was easy to communicate with the hosts about how to check in and out. The AC worked well and the place was easy to cool. We were in the "Traveler's" apartment. You walk in to a spacious kitchen that was reasonably well equipped. To the left is a very cute bathroom (shower, toilet, and sink not very separated). To the right is a bedroom separated by a pony wall from a sitting area with a couch. We had a room on the second floor -- no elevator, so if you have heavy bags and trouble carrying them, request a room on the ground floor. I am noise sensitive and considered the room to be very quiet. The furniture, bedding, decor, lighting, were all fantastic. We had no issues with insects. The location is fairly close to the water and within walking distance of some shops and restaurants, but I'd describe the area as on the quieter side, with easy street parking and an easy drive to busier locations.

The shower is very interesting from a design perspective: it's a set of pipes with holes punctured in them. The look is cool and industrial, but it operates more like a sprinkler than a shower. Water pressure was quite low -- so though the shower looked great, it was not the most functional.
