House - Sleeps 5 parking & private garden

The kitchen and bathroom were lovely, as was the downstairs toilet. Obviously, it's been updated recently. It's a shame about the rest of the house, tired looking and could do we a refresh of paint. Clean and tidy throughout, added touch of bath towels was good.

If you leave tea/coffee ready available... don't forget milk! Little touches are what people remember

It looked very dirty and ruff on arrival.house was only partly renovated.just slapped paint over old and was all peeling off.covered up wholes in doors.living room sliding door would not shut as it has been up for years.was a very musty cold house.sofa black one was not joined together so was very rickety.not appealing at all.

It is only partly renovated. Hardly any sockets. WiFi rubbish.

Quiet location, well equipped and very clean. We stayed for Christmas and there were some lovely decorations and a tree. We liked the reclining sofas. Easy 20 minute walk to beach. [To address some concerns from previous reviews - there is now a blind in the kitchen. Front and back gardens were both tidy. And all of the supposedly 'huge cobwebs' were outside, not inside!!]

The fridge wasn't working properly, which unfortunately ruined some of our festive food. The TV is in an awkward position (too high up on the wall) so it's uncomfortable to watch. The kitchen needs more storage space - it's a big room but with very few cupboards which were all full, and there's very little worktop space, so there was nowhere to put food!

Beds were comfy plenty of towels and extra bedding if needed.

There was no blind in the bathroom or toilet, which both face out onto the main road. And no coffee machine as stated in listing. A pint of milk would be a good gesture. Freview on TV doesn't work.

Going home .

No Fire Alarms , no instructions for the Induction cooking Hob or for any other kitchen item . The bannisters were very sticky . The bathroom glass shower door could not be opened because of the washing basin next to it . Can only reach taps by getting into the bath , and bath did not have any safety rails . We did not feel comfortable at all .

Very clean bed linen and comfy beds. Yes the kitchen and the bathroom are newly refurbished which was great 😊 It was easy to go to the shops and the beach 🏖️ off road parking 🅿️ was a bonus. Quite area. It was homely.

Cob webs in the house even though it was clean. The garden as well needs some attention to it.

The house was excellent in every way and most suitable for our families need , loved the location and although not near to the sea the A47 offered us great freedom of travel.

There was nothing that we did not like there are no adverse comments that we can make.

The house was renovated to a high standard

When we got there the house wasn't cleaned had to waste time waiting for cleaner .got up next day to no hot water so waited about again for engineer who couldn't rectify the problem so all our stay was without hot water it was stressful and spoiled our stay .I believe the owner was having a new boiler fitted when we left .and she was very upset and amenable offering us compensation which I accepted .
