Location was superb

It’s in a great location, quiet beach on the doorstep. Can be busier in the weekend. Apartment was quaint and had all modern coms. It was in good condition and clean. Maria was absolutely brilliant, very welcoming. We forgot a toiletries bag and a blouse. With out hesitation this was send to our home address. Fantastic!

Perfect location for walking SWCP. Ideal for 2 people. Great shower, well equipped kitchen and comfy bed.

Only beach Bar to eat out within walking distance and opens April to October.

Very sadly we didn’t have a happy stay at Ocean View. It’s a lovely property in a great location but we found our stay in the Studio so uncomfortable we left after only 1 night of our 3 night booking. I promise we are not precious, last year we walked the south west coast path staying in a tiny tent or the most basic accommodation. When we arrived at Ocean View the accommodation was a chilly 14 degrees. The heating control was locked so we were unable to change it. There was a log burner but no logs, information or even matches. We messaged the owners but received no reply (to be fair they said they didn’t receive the message). By the time we went to bed the temperature had gone up to 23 degrees - far too hot to sleep comfortably. Again we couldn’t change it. The mattress was lumpy, uncomfortable and needs replacing. The noise from the family in the flat above was unbearable - it was not their fault, we could even hear the dog’s claws tapping on the floor. We heard every footstep, every time a tap was turned on, every movement - often as loud bangs. We didn’t sleep at all. The owners offered to speak to the other guests when they returned (owners were away until the 2nd day) but we didn’t want another holiday ruined - and people have the right to move around in their accommodation. The property is meant to be soundproofed but this absolutely wasn’t our experience. The owners need to stay in the studio for a while and experience it. We have never left a holiday early before.

Lovely views. Very clean. Welll appointed. Lovely touch the dressing gowns and slippers. Quiet. Plenty of hot water. Kitchen well equipped. Perfect for a couple on a short break.

Mattress needs replacing. Pillows very flat. Sofa very low and not comfortable at all. Needed a plug socket with a USB outlet.

Had a lovely stay at Ocean View. The location was perfect and the view was unreal! We especially enjoyed just watching the ocean and seeing the pattern of the tides. Our little dog loved the beach and it was handy having the beach just on the doorstep! The apartment was the perfect retreat and had everything we needed. Thank you!
