Red Apple Inn

My hotel room hotel was dirty upon entry. The floor clearly hadn't been swept in some time, and the towels and sheets were stained. Additionally, the walls had paint streaks on them, as if someone had started to put on a new coat and changed their mind a few strokes in. Additionally, the room had a strong musty odor. Some of the floor tiles (it was all tile) were chipped. The stuffing in the pillows was all misshapen. There was no overhead light. The neglect of the room was obvious. If I had to book a hotel in the area again, I would choose another option, even if it were a slightly higher price.

Maybe it's just the room I was in but the bathroom had a musky smell and the floor (which was tile/concrete) was dirty. You should've seen the bottom of my socks and feet. The staff was great and friendly, the lobby was clean, and there's a pretty cool restaurant with the same name nearby. But every time I went into the bathroom, it smelled like a crawlspace with old sweaty shirts.

It was nice and a nice spot to go to with convience and a bit of solitude.

The staff was very nice, courteous and friendly. The room was clean and the property seems well kept. Although the neighborhood/area around seems a bit sketchy, it felt safe and it was quiet. There is food and a gas station within walking distance. The rooms could use some soundproofing though. After 6am I could hear people walking and talking outside but for a short stay this is a good place to stay in. I would definitely stay here again.
