Deep Well Motel

Different room this time. The bed was marginally better then the last room. Bathroom better then last one too, although it took a while for hot water to kick in.

Nice stay. No frills but adequate. Bed was comfortable. Temperature in the room was perfect. Service great (we asked for more towels). The room was spacious with plenty of space to put luggage. Clean but it coul use some touch up with paint in the bathroom. Convenient location. Would stay here again.

Everyone wants to save money so this is the place to do that. We stayed for 2 nights at the Deep Well Motel, and were pleasantly surprised. It’s old, but renovated. No free breakfast. But if you just need a place to shower and sleep, stay at this motel. It’s clean and comfortable enough for a good nights sleep. The mini fridge and microwave were a plus. Good water pressure in the shower. The staff are polite and hospitable. You can feel their goal is for you to be happy staying in their motel. Do NOT expect much and you will be pleased. As long as they keep their prices low, maintain the cleanliness of the place, their vacancy will stay full with people returning over and over again!

And old property well maintained, but you can see the years past. Very noisy air conditioner. Good beds.

I've read the reviews and people need to understand, this is an older property. If you want Hampton Inn or Courtyard, please go there and pay 2 or 3 times more. I just got done driving 500 miles and a quiet little old school motel on the outskirts of a quaint town is all I need. Lots of good restaurants and historical sites nearby. Owner/manager is nice and helped me figure out how to get the cable set up how I want it. I'd stay here again.

The motel was the cheapest in the immediate area so it is as much a run down motel that I expected. The worst thing was the mattress, very hard, between the hardest mattresses we've slept on at a couple casinos and a board. NO bed bugs though!

Very nice staff. Everything was nice and clean. Good value for the $!

Pleasant spot on the old road at the edge of town. About as bare-bones as you can get—all you get in the bathroom is soap, no shampoo. But everything worked fine. Bumped up a star because friendly owner lent me a phone charger after I forgot mine.

I booked a king room, got a double room; quite clean inside and tidy outside; they need to install DEAD BOLTS on the door--just a flimsy knob lock made me feel somewhat insecure; air conditioning didn't work properly--would cycle off and not come back on even though I had it on HIGH as we had record high temps in the 90s and very high humidity; I returned from a concert nearby at 9:30 pm to the a/c snafu and left without bringing this to the attention of the front desk and found a suitable room elsewhere--I was disgusted and cranky and just wanted to get out of there vs risking changing rooms and still end up with inadequate a/c. The only thing I used in the room was the bathroom sink to wash my face--I was hoping that management would see the note I left as to the faulty a/c and not charge me the full $80; I was wrong. The office worker is behind a huge panel of plexiglass with a small hole on the bottom to sign paperwork, etc.--hard to hear or deal effectively through that.

The condition of the room was good. It was clean. The bathroom was quite nice and up to date. Other fixtures, such as the TV and fridge were up to date and worked well. The room lighting was not very bright and there were limited options. All in all the room was nice, the property well maintained and safe. The vibe at the property was strange however. It seemed like a considerable portion of the rooms were being used as low income housing.
