Getting a decent kitchenette suite is difficult and expensive , so you get what you pay for . Had a king size bed , kitchenette , bathroom and shower with a balcony . For $150 a day don’t complain . End unit was noisy with the foot traffic going up the stairs as you can hear everything in the evening and night . Other then that it was clean , simple , front desk was really nice and helpful , balcony over looked the back of the property and wildlife was there , just remember you are in B.C. and bats like to come out when it’s dark . Would I go back ? Sure for the price , lots of lighting out front at night and when it’s dark so it felt safe as well .

I should have made mention that we are 91 & 68 years of age ... then we might not have had to walk down about 10 steps to our room. I booked through Expedia, it's a learning curve for me. On the other hand - the air conditioner worked well - I was very grateful. The TV was a mystery to turn off & we never heard about nor found the 'free breakfast'.

It has the basics, be aware there is no hair dryer. There were only 2 pillows in the room but we did get more from the office. Bed was ok. Room 2B was quite dark (I forgot to tell owner that the wall light was not reliable - needs a new bulb I think). Remember to ask for breakfast vouchers. We weren't offered them when we checked in - fortunately someone was in the office in the morning. It is old and dated, lots of repairs to balconies to reinforce, lots of garbage around - sadly people throw over the balconies. The breakfast place was good, a few blocks down the road with only 3 options but we enjoyed them. There is a portable air conditioner which was needed, small fridge and microwave. I would not recommend staying if you can afford something else. I felt it was overpriced for the condition of the building. Fortunately the weather was beautiful and we didn't have to spend much time in the room.

We arrived very late due to highway closures, but the staff was understanding and left the key in the unlocked room. The only issue that we had was a gap under the main door which we had to block with a towel to prevent bugs from getting into the room.

I liked the balcony in the back that faces the forest. It’s an older property, but it’s nice enough. The door to the bathroom didn’t close properly, it has a fridge and microwave and a Roku tv. Beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast is at screamers icecream place. You get a little coupon. The breakfast is small but you can buy pastries or cookies too. It’s a little walk from the hotel.

We stayed here for one night while traveling to Calgary. We had a family suite. The rooms were of very poor condition. One room was inhabitable due to the smell of the carpet- possibly dog. We did not spend a lot of time in the room. It was generally clean, bedding, bathroom was ok.
