Stunning character 2bed Cottage in St Albans Wifi

A little on the small size but that doesn’t help with having tall partner !!

The place is generally was ok, but dated and not looked after. Location is ok, but we won't be coming back. Welcoming pack was hidden on the shelf so I had to email the host to request some information.

The Free toiletries advertised so I didn't pack any only to find 2 half empty bottles in the cupboard. Fireplace is not what you would expect so should not be used as a feature. The place wasn't clean, some lights were missing, the garden at the front looked as not been used for many weeks, the patio at the back wasn't cleaned in days. Some of the lamps weren't connected.mould and Dust in some places ( under the bed has not been hoovered for a very long time).

It was nice to have the whole house for our extended stay in England.

The mattresses were a little uncomfortable because of the springs.

Really beautiful renovation, kept very clean we really loved it.

The doors upstairs were very hard to close/ wouldn’t close but I suppose with such an old building it’s to be expected.

Suburban location.

Steep stairway to second floor bedrooms and bathroom should be disclosed. Second floor windows were locked no escape if stairwell blocked.

Decor. The park opposite

The decor was a nice cottage vibe and the locals were very friendly

We had a toddler in the group and a tablet was found on one of the bedroom floors. The overall cleanliness was awful there was mould and limescale in the bathroom tap and the floors hadn’t been cleaned. When moving the rug there was dirt and debris all underneath and gave a very unclean feel

Close to dog walks, St Albans, access to London

It’s small but cute and homely

The cottage is in a great location. Close to motorways and a railway station. It is well equipped with everything you would need such as kitchen equipments, iron, microwave, hairdryer, cleaning materials etc. Nice cosy and homely feeling. We stayed at Christmas time and we had Christmas decorations up, which was a lovely touch. Dog friendly and there is a big park and dog walks right opposite the property. We had a great stay.
