Hotel & Resort Tre Fontane Luxury

STAY AWAY - there is NOTHING positive to write about this hotel. It held so much promise but it completely let itself down. Our stay was ruined by a large party which the hotel booked in a room on the same floor as us. There was music, dozens of people, catering, noise and just no regard for any other guests. We rang down to reception three times asking them to please sort this out so we could get some sleep. In the end, I opened the door and shouted "SHUT UP" to the squealing children racing down the hall at 1am. Ridiculous. We were incensed in the morning and told by the front reception Luigi that he totally apologises for the chaos and the hotel should not have booked such a large gathering, knowing full well there was paying guests staying on the same floor. We asked to be refunded for the last night given we got zero sleep. Luigi, in good faith, said that of course, a refund was due as a small compensation for the disruption and asked us to send him an email outlining the issues which we did. He then told us that as we had booked thru booking.com, we would need to request the refund from them directly but it absolutely was no issue, the hotel accepted full responsibility. We left with that intention and have had nothing but hassle and headache since, the hotel now refusing to accept any issues and said we are making it all up. Absolutely LIVID. They are liars and the hotel needs to be removed from booking.com for such poor regard for guests and customer service. We are now chasing them for a FULL refund rather than just accepting the last night refund as promised. I will not let this rest because I hate hotels that have you over a barrel with your money and now feel they can just ignore any genuine complaints because it's a catch22, the hotel couldn't refund because was booked via website and Booking.com can't refund without authorisation from the hotel. This loophole needs to be addressed in some way with Booking.

...it leaves the customer exposed with no recourse or leg to stand on. If we had booked directly with hotel, we would have had leverage to not pay upon check out for the disturbance. Lesson learned for next time and makes me hesitant to use booking.com in the future. So...DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. Don't be swayed by nice pictures or a few positive reviews. This place is far removed from the centre of Naples, taxis charge double as they have to go out of their district so transportation is a rip off. The hotel is situated next to a derelict building site which has been left for years. There's no atmosphere, no warmth and nothing positive to write about this hotel. I wish we never booked it and stayed elsewhere. The staff is flippant and rude, unhelpful and patronising. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

This is our second visit. The location is exceptional. The staff are wonderful particularly Carlo who manages the pool and fitness area. Carlo who runs the bar is another clear asset to the hotel as are the young men who operate the restaurant. We were also fortunate to meet the Chef Pietro on more than one occasion. Quite honestly the standard of seafood and the expertise in how it is cooked is world class. Last but not least we need to mention the dynamic team on reception. A warm genuine welcome awaits you always. They are always on hand to help and advice on your stay. We’re already planning our return visit.

Our stay at The Grand was exceptional! The housekeeping team kept our room spotless. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast buffet offered a great variety of fresh options.The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast buffet offered a great variety of fresh options.The front desk personnel are exceptional, particularly the lady with black curly hair, whose name I unfortunately forgot, as she assisted us beyond our expectations.

The pool here is amazing and the rooms were fabulous! Big, comfortable and clean
