"A much enjoyed stay, wish I had booked for longer."

9.0

Very comfortable peaceful place with a great view, a treat to watch the early morning sun rise over the water to birdsong. Enjoyed all the lovely artwork. Being without a car it worked well as a base for ferry access and a good local bus to Ardentinny for family visits.

Bit wary of walking through the garden access as I am very nervous of dogs!

"Good"

Liked the quirkiness of the cottage. Like the art work around the rooms, liked they left us milk on arrival. Good instructions on how to get there. The road surface was pretty rough and you had to be very careful when parking. Didnt like the lack of lights at night We arrived when it was dark and the outside light wasnt working made it difficult to see the path had to use torch on my phone. The cottage was small but nice, it was clean and linens smelled freshly washed. It was very quiet. The kitchen had everthing you needed and everyhting was clean. however a few handles off the cupboard and drawers , drawers really stiff, shower didnt stay up , so you had to hold it to wash yourself. Found the spring mattress uncomfortable.

"Our stay was relaxing and very enjoyable."

9.0

This property has everything you need. It is very clean, quiet and specious enough. It's located very close to the ferry and only a few minutes drive to a big Morrisons supermarket. The rooms are bigger than you would expect. There is a nice view from the living room over the water. There is a little space outside which was perfect for enjoying the morning coffee. The house was decorated with beautiful pieces of art that were created by the owner which gives it a lovely home feeling. The host was friendly and gave us clear instructions on how to get to the house and how to get in. It was very easy. We would recommend staying here if you want to get away for some peace, quiet and nature, but you don't want to be totally isolated.

"Great, just a couple of things to sort"

8.0

The location is great, fantastic view, very cosy place, very quite. The kitchen facilities were excellent as were the living room.

The bed was very springy and needs a topper or the mattress replaced. Unfortunately, we didn't get much sleep. Also the shower holder doesn't tighten so the shower head was facing down, this was a bit frustrating as I have long hair and trying to have a shower and wash it had to be done over the bath.
