Lovely little cottage. Cosy and quiet, yet less than five minutes from ferry. Ideally located for exploring the local area and taking in the stunning landscape.

lovely cosy cottage with everything you need for a relaxing stay.. pet friendly which is an added bonus :)

arrived in the dark..there is a wee set of uneven steps at bottom of path that I fell down :(. A wee sensor light here and I would have seen better where my feet where going..

"Cute little house with amazing views!"

8.0

The location was fantastic, the house was quirky and cute and it was very quiet. It was good to be able to just turn up and not have to worry about being there for a set time to check in and being a couple of minutes from the ferry terminal was super convenient. The view over the Clyde from the kitchen and livingroom were stunning!

The house was a bit cold in the mornings and in the evenings, even with the heating on (but it didn't ruin the stay!), we did visit in Mid October so I'm sure it would be much warmer in the summer/spring months.

Nice decor and artwork , beautiful garden and nice quiet central location .

a lot of spiders ,webs and cobwebs everywhere , profound smell of damp in bedroom . fridge was not turned on and no milk , despite receiving a message saying milk was left for me .

"Our short break .."

10.0

Great place as a base for exploring area. Fantastic location overlooking garden onto water. Fin 'the house spaniel' was happy & gentle & curious to know what our dog Daisy was up to but both caused no problems. Our part of the garden 'slighty' overgrown & Daisy would not enter this part of garden until I 'made' a pathway by clearing the overgrown vegetation .. dead headed potted plants made HUGE difference in 2 days outside main door. 2 gates to allotted cottage allowing privacy & security. Cottage clean & tidy .. TV FAR too small for living room but as only 1 adult watched this at night it was satisfactory for us. Plenty of books & games if reqd. Kitchen had washing machine, cooker, microwave, fridge & various additional condiments .. fresh milk in fridge for our arrival .. EVERYTHING we needed for our stay. Bedroom had double bed which was extremely comfy despite pillows being too soft, no pillow or mattress protectors which I found strange due to 'hotel' stays but all clean & stain free. Bathroom shower good & towels provided. Art work throughout house interesting & made the mind THINK. Enjoyed our stay .. plenty of take away places for food to choose from & dog walking areas a-plenty, scenic areas, quiet with friendly people.

The HEAT!! Unfortunately no one can 'tober' mother nature .. early & late walks to avoid the SUN .. in SCOTLAND (1st time I've EVER said that) .. midges STILL out in force in wooded areas! Cottage stay fantastic.
