La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Denver Parker

They are doing construction near the hotel making it difficult to get to the hotel. We never had our room cleaned. They never brought us towels, toilet paper or toiletries. The staff was nice and apologized but the stay was less than great. They did have a pretty good breakfast and that is the only reason they didn't get 1 star.

The bed was super comfortable. The temperature management was easy and perfect.

If you are handicapped, this may not be a place for you. The bathroom had a tub and grab bars but was extremely slippery, required a high step to enter and no bathmat was provided. Very scary for the unstable. When inquiring about a shower instead, I was told that no grab bars were in the showers. And the bathtub featured a shower seat that had to be installed sideways to fit Totally useless. ALSO, if you require a dark room in order to sleep, ours had 11( yes, 11!) led lights that glowed throughout the night. Hotel was clean, bed comfortable and staff accommodating.

The staff, especially the front desk staff, were friendly and helpful. They tried to be accommodating to my requests for assistance, even though their help didn't fully resolve the issue. Also, the place was very clean.

I didn't like the fact that there simply was not enough lighting in the room; too dark. I definitely had a problem with beds in the accessible room that I was in. The beds were literally on the floor, there was no frame, just a box spring and mattress on the floor. Perhaps that was their idea of complying with needs for guests requiring such accommodations, but I have mobility issues that limit movement (stooping/bending, squatting). with the beds being so low, I had trouble getting into bed and getting out of bed. Not good! Perhaps the height of the beds may have been acceptable to someone fully confined to a wheelchair, some thought should have been given to those of us who have other factors to be considered as well.

Property seemed safe. Beds are uncomfortable and super low to the ground. Pillows are horrible and water pressure was so bad it was hard to wash my hair. I had a broken/missing light fixture in my room. I can’t wait to go home so I can actually sleep. I stay in the area often and have now learned not to stay at this hotel ever again.

Parking is good, lots of entry and exits. elevators worked well, AC was quiet and cool.
