Villa Andalas

Great location - close to restaurants and walking distance to seminyak square. incredible pool the kids lived in. central Living so we were able to watch the kids while they were in the pool.

Our first day in Bali it rained a lot, due to the design of the villa the rain was able to enter the living areas - because of the style of tiles this made it very slippery and the kids fell over/slipped a lot (as did we) staff were amazing and provided lots of towels to help but some rubber mats would be ideal for when it’s wet!

the location and the quiet

Peaceful, private, open air spacious living, large pool, only 100m to the hustle and bustle of Seminyak. Hosts were very attentive and welcoming. Separate sleeping quarters great for older kids, perfect villa for 2 couples to share.

Minor maintenance issues require attention.

Amazing pool,great kitchen and super comfortable beds.The staff,Mrs.Ketut looked so very well after us.Watchman was great to have,made us really feel secure. Plus it's a very spacious villa walking distance to all the clubs,restaurants and even the beach....I book the place again coming back to Bali!!

This villa has a super central location but no traffic noise. The pool is huge and was the perfect temperature in December when we visited. The large sofa is a great spot to lounge around. Loved that there was no TV in living area (Thoughtful towards neighbours).

If you like lying in the sun this won’t suit you as there are only two loungers and they are in shade much of the day (we didn’t care but some might). I didn’t love that the security guard was in an non-air conditioned garage overnight. It was really hot in there (I know locals don’t feel the heat as much but I thought it would be kinder to have AC for him and I’m sure guests wouldn’t mind paying a few dollars a day more for him to have the option). This is not a villa that is in absolutely pristine condition. Everything is very clean but if you are the type who freaks out about things like some electrical wires hanging out of a wall (normal in Bali) I would choose a more expensive place. As it is this place is great value for a large central villa. There are a lot of villas adjacent so if noisy people move in next door you are kind of at their mercy. That happened to us towards the end of our stay. That is true of pretty much any villa in Seminyak though.
