Ionion Beach Resort

It is a place to go back. Great views over the sea. Quite comfy room and super clean. The Staff were helpful in all the areas. The breakfast had all we needed and was tasty.

My stay was truly wonderful! Comfortable and spotlessly clean room with a real sea view. Very well-kept spaces, nice aesthetics with a fairly large swimming pool. Breakfast was plentiful and with delicious products. Very kind service and reception with lots of useful information.

The location was good, with a supermarket nearby and a nice, if steep, walk to the town for dinner. The room was clean and perfectly functional although from the Booking.com write-up we had expected something more comfortable, for example better linen, towels and pillows. If you expect a 3* standard then you'll be very happy. The building we were in was new, all very fresh. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful.

There are lots of stairs in this property! Only go if you are fit. The beach was a sea of closely spaced sunbeds and umbrellas. Sunbeds were an extra 15 euros per day. Towels required a deposit. We had a late checkout but it cost 50 euros. So go prepared to spend extra on the accommodation beyond the published price! Breakfast was fairly basic. Not much choice, not well presented. For example, there was no toaster, one day they had run out of teabags, choice of fried or boiled eggs only, watermelon was in huge chunks with the skin on. The staff stood and watched the guests eat which spoilt the vibe.
