Karma Cappadocia

Place is located very close to Uchisar Castle and near every facility a tourist may need. The owner Samet has been very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Definitely recommended!

We stayed for 3 nights at Karma Cappadocia Hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. If you're planning to visit Uçhisar Castle, the hotel is conveniently located just about 500 meters away. There are some great restaurants nearby; Satrap Restaurant is a must-visit for authentic pottery kebabs. Our room was a cozy cave-style room, which added to the charm, although there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom; that was the only downside. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Keep in mind, that the hotel is a bit far from Göreme, so getting to Göreme attractions can be a little tricky unless you rent a vehicle, as taxi fares can be quite high. Still, our stay was peaceful and enjoyable.

There was an unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom, and our room wasn't cleaned during the entire 3-day stay. Also, the lighting inside the room was quite dim, making it feel a bit dark.

We stayed at the room 999 for our honeymoon and had a wonderful stay. The room was spacious, extremely clean; and the view from the bathtub is incredible. We also loved the wide open terrace and the amazing views of the balloons in the sunrise. The breakfast was rich and delicious with plenty of choices. The staff were really kind and helpful.

Samet, the owner, and Davut, were so friendly and helpful. Samet helped arrange for a shared shuttle from Kayseri Airport at 3am and also allowed me to check in early , which was such a relief! The hotel itself is in an incredible location. If you can, book room 888. It is the room with the bathtub overlooking Pigeon Valley and the hot air balloons at sunrise, though the viewing deck gives you the best vistas. Davut was also really helpful in giving me information and helped book the Green Tour (which includes the biggest underground city, the Selime monastary, Ilhara Valley and more. I highly recommend.

If you like fresh air or suffer claustrophobia, then the cave rooms may not be for you.

The hotel was very beautiful and clean, with a stunning rooftop terrace. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

It was one of the best booked stays for me and my husband! We have chosen a suite with jacuzzi and pigeon valley view. The room was very comfy, we liked interrior, hospitality and it was very clean and warm inside. The breakfast was served on the top flloor, also with a nice view. We did not check the weather in advance and were a little sad baloons were not available to book, but despite that, we were able to plan our time well thanks to the offered tours. Gurkan was an amazing host and the rest of the staff too, we will recommend this place for sure. Location is around 10 min drive from Goreme, which is also nice as we wanted to be in a more peaceful area, breath out and enjoy our privacy. I think there were enough cafes near us, but we had quite an intense tours program and did not have a chance to explore around. 10 out of 10 we are happy with our choice.

On arrival it gave off a very home like feeling. It feels like you came home from a vacation. We were greeted by Gurkan once we arrived. He kindly took our luggage and helped us check into our room. Very welcoming and kind. I’d recommend this place if you’re going to Cappadocia for vacation. 10/10
