ININThis was the worst booking of my life. This should be a zero star review. I am well traveled and have been nomadic for 5 years renting at hotels and Airbnb. There are dogs barking all night When confronting the management about this issue I was screamed at and threatened When we asked for a late checkout due to the lack of sleep from the property being filled with barking street When signing out at the front desk The fan to the right of counter which was rusty and dirty and Cut my friends finger almost off And we had to rush to the hospital Where she had to get stitches
In response to confronting management about the dirty street dogs barking all day and night We were threatened and screamed at as the owner denied the dogs being on the property claiming they were on the beach (this was a phone call and I was surrounded by dogs at the time) At this time I was requesting 1 hour late check out which is at 11 and we were requesting a noon check out due to our late start from the non stop barking all day and night from the aggressive street dogs. We were denied late checkout We were screamed at and threatened. We were threatened that we would be charged for an additional night (this all took place at 11:30 am, 30 minutes after official checkout time) at which point the room was empty and all of our luggage was in the car. We were screamed at and threatened for no reason. We are both women and management was an angry and disrespectful man. After, when signing out of the hotel the rusted metal fan to the right of the counter chopped the tip of my friends finger off splattering blood all over the reception. It was tragic and we spent the day in the hospital getting stitches and shots. Management asked my friend to sign out of the hotel in their log book again after the injury while her finger was spraying blood everywhere as we rushed to the car to rush to the hospital where she received stitches. It is her birthday this week and we left shaking.
