Good location, good size for a few days for a couple.

The prices for the property were wrong as advertised on booking.com. The owner charged an extra £75 for cleaning plus £2 per person per day for tax. The price should be correct upfront and include everything - the advertisement is misleading and appears more affordable then it really is. The description was also incorrect. We read that it had a terrace and a dishwasher, the property had neither. The owner was unwelcoming and we felt they were entirely money driven rather than welcoming. On check in we were given the wrong details for a different room so we had to take all our luggage up and down three flights of stairs and move to another room.

The location was amazing- it’s in the heart of everything in Cascais, and literally 200 steps from the beach. Communication about the property was easy. The apartment is nice and well appointed, and the rooftop deck is not to be missed. It was very helpful to have a kitchenette and a washing machine. We definitely recommend this apartment.

The electrical system is old, which made it difficult to run more than one appliance at a time. Using both burners to cook caused the fuse to flip, so cooking had to be limited. This would only be an issue for someone who wants to do a lot of cooking. There are dozens of restaurants steps away from the apartment, so there are plenty of options. Also, the sofa is not a fold out, but it is big enough for one person to sleep on.

Nomad Dreams was very well located, yet quiet, and was clean and had everything we could need. It was attractive and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We liked everything about the property, especially the fact that it was only a half a flight of stairs up.
