"Beautiful property in a lovely location close to the town"

Our room was superb and we loved the style. Very large room, a comfortable bed, sizeable storage areas and a brilliant bathroom / shower. There was also a good quality coffee pod machine. There was a massive terrace with great views. The views from the room were also exceptional. We were happy with the location as it was a nice walk to the town, 20 mins to the wine tram terminal. We found the walk to be very safe, although we only walked it in the day time. Whilst we comment on breakfast timings, the spread was very good and clearly a lot of effort goes into it. The common area and pool were very nice spaces to chill early evening. They recommended many places to visit.

Given the number of guests who head out for the tram, a more puncture 8am start for the breakfast would be appreciated, especially as there was a bit of a wait to be served. We decided to leave in the first morning without ordering and on the two other mornings, breakfast was missing a key listed ingredient. The safe refusing to unlock on the morning of our departure was not ideal. Thankfully we were departing later in the day. It would have been problematic had we needed to leave for a flight.

De ruime kamer en de mogelijkheid om te zwemmen.

De hyginëne, haren op de vloer van de badkamer en in de kastjes. Vlekken op meubilair en de kussens van de ligbedden bij het zwembad. Loslaten pleisterwerk van muren en plafond.

"Heerlijk hotel met fantastisch ontbijt en fijn zwembad. Goede uitvalsbasis om Franschhoek en omgeving te verkennen."

De nette kamer, het fijne zwembad en uitgebreide ontbijt met hele lekker gerechten.

Wij vonden het bed niet zo fijn liggen, maar dat is een kwestie van smaak.

Lovely architecture and facilities, very large comfortable room. Nice pool and breakfasts.

Staff didn’t really engage with guests very much, but spent a lot of time chatting between themselves. Couple of buildings on street down to the town looking a bit unloved/derelict.
