Cambria Hotel Minneapolis Downtown

I was appalled at having the pay for parking $25 each night as a hotel guest

Overall location was convenient especially to get to First Avenue for a concert. The room seemed almost newly renovated or new, not sure yet I did enjoy its comfort and sleek design.

Part of the staff absolutely unfriendly and any time I needed something or a question answered seemed I was bothering them. I feel the front desk staff are your first line people to the public. To receive uncaring disinterested energy is off putting. Parking was a tad challenging and had to pay for it daily which I do not see in the description at all. I was overcharged a day for parking so it is yet to be seen if I will be reimbursed because front desk staff did not seem all too convincing that would even happen. Almost anything being asked for had a charge to it, i.e., early check in or late check out. Lot is located in pretty sketchy area. Was an arrest behind hotel coming back one night and did not feel safe using that entrance.

The staff were all nice and accommodating. Front desk staff rocked!

Everyone at the hotel was very nice, thoughtful and helpful. Only issue was the transit station across the street playing loud music all day and night long. (Till 3 a.m.) Front desk ran us up earplugs which did help some

Front desk staff was very rude. I’ve stayed at many hotels over the years, and I was really disappointed with how I heard them talking to one another when they thought customers couldn’t hear them.

Accommodating staff, clean property, comfortable and modern room

This property is new, in excellent condition, and extremely clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant were unexpectedly good. The rooms are an excellent value, thanks to their location. The Salvation Army facility is right up the street. Drug addicts sit on the sidewalk a block from the hotel, smoking crack. While I was sitting in the bar, the police chased a suspect, threw him to the ground, and handcuffed him right in the entrance of the hotel.
