Aura Studios

Everything was close to the studios.

Aura Studio is a good accommodation for the quality/price ratio, I stayed there for 2 weeks. The concierge and the manager are friendly and helpful. A big plus is the pool ! As for areas of improvement, the studios are minimalist, with minimal kitchen equipment (adding a cutting board would be practical). The cleaning, done once a week, could be more thorough (at my check-in, my microwave had moldy fries and there were spider webs) and could be done regularly in the rooms for at least trash collection.

I have been to Playa del Carmen many times and this is by far the best accommodations I have ever had! The staff here are so lovely and kind - and patient - because I locked myself out twice now (oops). I think the property is better than the pictures. The pool - huge, and with the softest lounge chairs, so good I fell asleep in one. The rooms are REALLY clean. Not even one mosquito (my last place had cockroaches). The air con is fully functional and there is a ceiling fan. I have also never stayed anywhere with a functioning freezer or fridge that doesn't leak water everywhere. Both were functioning at full capacity. The property is walking distance to restaurants, bars, banks, grocery stores - but also a very quiet location. The security is solid and I never feel unsafe. The Wi-Fi works amazing! I was able to get work done and spend some time in the sun. It even works at the pool; I have stayed at expensive resorts and was unable to use Wi-Fi outside of my room. I HIGHLY recommend this accommodation and will definitely be back next trip. Diana, the owner is so incredibly accommodating. Salome is amazing and makes me laugh at least once a day. Do yourself a favor and come stay here - you won't regret it!!!!

Tuve una gran habitación, fue fantástico. Limpie mucho espacio y, sin embargo, central. gran comunicación con el propietario. muy útil y en cualquier momento de nuevo. las habitaciones y la piscina es maravillosa

Very great value for the money. Small place perfect for solo traveler. I stayed for 1 week. There’s common areas and a private balcony. AC leaked at first but the problem was resolved immediately. Great communication, great management and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again :).

es la primera ocasión que use estás instalaciones, todo excelente, ubicación, limpieza, atención en todo momento. Todos los servicios cercanos al inmueble y de fácil ubicación. 100% recomendable ,lo volvería a usar y una zona muy segura

The apartment is really spacious with a huge bed, fully equipped kitchen and even a little outdoor roof/terrace area which is great for watching the sunset. Interestingly it wasn’t the same apartment as the photos. But still nice. The only thing to let this place down was how loud it is at night. Every night we were woken by car and building alarms as well as constant dog barking. It’s definitely out of the tourist area, and in more of an authentic Mexican neighbourhood. But it is only a short walk to the main strip and beach. The hosts are generally attentive on WhatsApp, even coming quickly to fix a small ant problem we experienced in the apartment. Overall a good stay, (pool is nice too) just be aware of loud nights!
