"Tropical oasis in Langkawi"

A beautiful resort by the beach. All staff are so wonderful at this resort and provide exceptional customer service. Everyone is so friendly and hospitable. The breakfast is amazing and the pool and surrounds are beautiful and well maintained. The design of the hotel provides great shady areas around the pool in the afternoon especially the shallow kids area which is a positive for young kids as the heat under the sun is extreme. The many side pools were also great fun and added to the beautiful layout and design of the pool area. Water was a nice temp. Staff provided pool balls and floatation rings for the little ones. Great water activities for the kids too. Loved the swinging huge lounge chair and nightly entertainment. The sky deck pool had a beautiful view and was so relaxing. Nice, cozy kids club with lots of toys and activities. Nice restaurants on site. Pizza is delicious! Highly recommend dessert at Lancava. We had a family room on 5th floor which was spacious. Bedding was very comfortable. View was not so great though. Maybe consider ocean side view with adjoining room for larger families? Great amenities and complimentary mini bar when book direct with hotel. Bathroom glass sliding door a bit heavy to pull, privacy could be better. This resort is in a great location. Mini mart directly across the road. 5-10min walk is a McDonald’s and the markets and Pantai Cenang (main beach area/square with live entertainment and street food carts, very lively atmosphere). Overall would highly recommend this hotel!
