Lovely staff will bend over backwards to help you. There are only 2 cabanas presently so it’s very quiet and the breakfast was exceptional. Clean and new.

It is very isolated from the town of Drake Bay where all of the tours and boat transfers leave from. It was USD25 each time I needed to go to town. Also the beach has very rough surf so while pretty, I wouldn’t recommend to families.

Incredible location next to the beach and surrounded by jungle vegetation, cute landscaping, excellent staff and great breakfast. Has shared kitchen for you to make lunch and dinner, nearby restaurant with amazing fish just 500m alongside beach.

Nothing much to complain about, but be ready for a slightly more rustic experience (limited Wi-Fi, bugs inside room but bug nets work well, cold showers)

The location of the lodges is amazing! You are basically alone in the middle of the forest and have the whole beach to yourself. In the night you hear the sounds of the waves (which can get pretty loud) and will be woken by howler monkeys. It is a very simple lodge but a great experience and surprisingly few insects in the room. Odir texted me a night before to assist with transportaton to and from Drake Bay. He made a reservation on the ferry and also organized a Taxi for us. There is only one restaurant close by (walking distance), but the food was really good.

The Lodge is located "pretty far" from Drake Bay (around 40-45 mins if you drive carefully) . If you are going to do any activities it is recommended to have a 4x4 because you will be driving on very bad quality dirt roads (generally recommended for Drake Bay area). If you do not have your own car, ask for a Taxi number from the staff who will meet you upon check-in (our Taxi drivers name was Ariel - he was great!).

Amazing stay by the perfect beach, where you can enjoy the sunset from the porch of a nice bungalow, and then fall asleep listening to the waves rolling in along with the sounds of the jungle behind the property. We were lycky to arrive just before the season ended (early January), so our host took us to the sea turtle conservation project further up the beach, where a few of the newly hatched turtles were released into the ocean.

This could have been an amazingly serene place, but this wasn’t quite the case for us: there was construction ongoing on the neighbor property, and our bungalow was also close to the breakfast deck, where the staff frequently were hanging out with their mobile phones, so sounds from videos and frequent message notificatons often took the magic away. Also, communication was not great, e.g. we ordered pickup from the airport and despite a 40 minute delay, no attempt was made to notify us. On another occasion we had to wait for 1h and 40min for a taxi that was arranged by the staff. And they failed to mention beforehand that the (otherwise great) mangrove tour we ordered from the hotel also required taxi at an additional cost of 60 USD.

If you are looking for a quiet and remote location to relax and unwind, this is the place to be! The lodges are located right at the beach with great ocean view. The shared kitchen allows you to prepare your own food, while the breakfast will be provided to your liking. Best part about this stay are the caring hosts, who will make sure that you have a great experience, for example by managing tours to the national park or diving excursions.

Cumbersome to get there, but definitely worth it.
