Buitenplaats Petersburg

The lodge had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. Ample space for a couple for a week. It was warm, the bed and the living area seating were comfortable, and we could cook basic meals in the kitchenette. Excellent free WiFi included. Very peaceful, loved watching the wildlife through the big windows. Great base for visiting Hoge Veluwe park and other attractions around Arnhem. Wealth of walking routes in the municipal woodland near the site. We liked Il Lupo on site and the Schaarsbergen Pannekoekhuis, a short walk away through the woods.

The bus service from Arnhem stops 20 minutes walk away in the evenings and at weekends so it was a less convenient place to stay without a car, though we still managed to get around quite a bit.

Die Ruhe in der Natur und die Fahrradwege rundherum sprechen für die gute Lage des Parks. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Beim Frühstück direkt in der Nähe des Chalets gab es alles.

Die Leihräder sind in die Jahre gekommen.

The cabins are luxurious, super well equipped, clean and cozy, and the surrounding natural area is beautiful. The restaurant Il Lupo is delicious, I ate there every night and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back!

Modern comfort midden in de natuur. Perfect gelegen en van alle gemakken voorzien. Vriendelijk personeel en een heerlijk Italiaans restaurant bij het gebied.

De natuurbeleving, de privacy, de vogels, open glazen schuifdeuren, het heerlijke bed, het comfort vd mooi ingerichte lodge, het aardige personeel (professioneel met persoonlijke non-nonsense houding.en service gericht)

Eigenlijk viel er niets tegen! Maar een enkele verbetertip: kitchenette zou iets uitgebreider kunnen worden ingericht (bier/borrelglazen, pastalepel, kaasschaaf), standaard handoek (naast theedoek en vaatdoek), extra wand/muurhaakjes in slaapgedeelte.

We didnt know what to expect for this stay and were just a delighted with what turned out to be a small cottage right in in the middle of the forest near the open air museum. Breakfast was wonderful. We would stay here again for longer.
